Spring Beauties
These flowers are quite fragrant and it is on a bush that has gotten out of control in our backyard. You can't go within ten yards of the bush while it's in bloom or you run the risk of getting stung by SOMETHING. It's like a bee brothel. :) 2009.

I'm not allowed to start my day with a cup of coffee. So, I start mine with a whiff of one of the most fragrant spring flowers - lupine!
Taken on Monday morning, March 22 2010 with the Canon Rebel and a Zeiss 85mm 1.4 lens.
